Made by the Meriden Co. in the Victorian era, this trophy cup has an outstanding figural base. Two crossed rifles rest on branches. A squirrel is making his way up the tree while a dog is in pursuit on the other side. This is a quadruple plate piece with some wear. It is, largely, in very fine condition with one area around the lip of the cup that shows wear. It measures 10 5/8 inches high. |
