We are pleased to offer these extremely rare brass hand tiebacks. The registry mark on the back dates them from Nov. 21, 1845. These exquisite and intricately detailed decorative accessories make a commanding statement. Each hand holds a sprig of leaves with berries. A bracelet, of the period, is at the wrist and the end of the arm has a realistically ruffled dress sleeve.

| Condition is excellent with minor, but age appropriate, surface wear. The hand is 10 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide at the sleeve and 2 1/2 inches at the hand. Outstanding. |
