This is a lovely oval bowl made by Meissen and carries the crossed swords mark on the back. The pattern features an allover foliate and floral raised pattern that is gilded on the crisp white background. The handles have a shell design. In addition to the Meissen mark, there appears to be an impressed mark that we make out as a W and 46. The piece measures 12 1/4 inches long and 8 inches wide. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Some gold wear.
