Laura E. Lindeman was an artist with Rookwood Pottery between the years 1902-1907. This vase is an example of her Iris glaze and dates, 1906. The delicate floral theme with a single bold flower around the neck, one partially opened flower, and many buds gives a nice contrast to the shaded green background. Laura was a sister of another Rookwood artist. Her initials are on the bottom, however, faint, along with the Rookwood impressed flame mark. This vase is 6 inches high and has no chips, cracks, or repairs. Age appropriate crazing. |
