This is an exceptional quality handpainted plate of the Dolomites mountains executed by listed Doulton artist, J. Birbecksen. The 9 inch plate features heavy gold decoration around the border and a lovely scene in the center with the mountains as a backdrop. Very fine detail and beautiful execution. The plate is truly Meissen quality, although it is a Royal Doulton piece. Absolutely mint condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. A beautiful work of art!
