Jens Jensen was a native of Denmark and brought many of the Danish decorating techniques to Rookwood Pottery when he began there, as a decorator, in 1927. His art credits are numerous and significant. This is a fine example of his work. It is dated 1945. Mr. Jensen left the Pottery in 1948. The vase measures 7 1/4 inches high. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. Beautiful design and color.
