Handsomely decorated with mustard and rich reddish/brown swirls, this decorated stein is made of redware. It is, possibly, an early piece produced by Shenandoah Pottery, however, we are not certain of its origin. We do know it is early and a good piece. The applied handle is turned up on the end. No potter's mark. It has no chips, cracks, or repairs. It stands 7 5/8 inches high and the mouth is 4 3/4 inches in diameter. A nice quality piece of redware. |
