Marked 800 on the back, this Egyptian Revival spoon is very unusual with a scarab at the top. The bowl of the spoon features a familiar Egyptian scene. The reticulated shank has enamel ornamentation. Even the back of the bowl has a decorative enamel rim. The enamel is, largely, intact with the exception of one side of the bowl of the spoon. It measures just over 5 inches long. |
