Marked, "Weller, on the bottom, this lovely lapis blue vase is from the desirable Hudson line made by this pottery factory. The cylindrical neck and bulbous base are beautifully decorated at the center. Raised leaves on a branch with berries encircle the waist. There is a fine line of lavender above and below the foliate design. Much of the fine art pottery produced in this line was unsigned. This is an example of those pieces. It dates from the 1920's to mid '30s. It is 9 3/4 inches tall. Mint condition. No chips, cracks, repairs, or scratches.
