| This 13 piece manicure set comes in its original presentation box. Each piece is monogrammed, GS. The set was made by Gorham mid-nineteeth century. The inside lid of the box carries the name of the retailer, C. Hartdogen & Co., Newark, NJ. The set is in wonderful condition. It contains a glove stretcher, curling iron, buttonhook, nail file and buffer, pumice stone, cuticle shaper, pair of tweezers, shoe horn, nail knife, and pair of round boxes. Each piece is marked with the three Gorham hallmarks and stamped, "Sterling." The box shows considerable wear to the outside. The individual pieces are in very fine condition with one or two pieces having a minute dent. Overall condition is exceptional. Rare to find a set with this many pieces in this fine condition. |
