We are offering a wonderful pair of handpainted plates with deep enamelled borders featuring alternating bands of leaves and flowers. The enamel work and painted is meticulously executed. Each plate has a central bird perched on a branch that is in full bloom. The plates are in superb condition. They are 9 inches in diameter and can be purchased separately or as a pair. The price quoted is for the pair. The backstamp dates these plates circa 1882.
