This tankard is an exceptional example of her work, featuring a young African American boy on one side of the mug. This is a high glaze piece dating 1898. This, very realistic painting is well executed with fine detail. It is stamped on the bottom with the factory mark and her initials. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Q1-RW0111

Rookwood Iris Glaze Vase By Laura Lindeman Laura E. Lindeman was an artist with Rookwood Pottery between the years 1902-1907. This vase is an example of her Iris glaze and dates, 1906. The delicate floral theme with a single bold flower around the neck, one partially opened flower, and many buds gives a nice contrast to the shaded green background. Laura was a sister of another Rookwood artist. Her initials are on the bottom, however, faint, along with the Rookwood impressed flame mark. This vase is 6 inches high and has no chips, cracks, or repairs. Age appropriate crazing.

Rookwood Vellum Vase, 1919, Signed This Rookwood vellum vase is decorated with a band of pastel colored flowers on a pink ground. The interior is a creamy white. We believe this could be the work of Rookwood artist Charles Schmidt and perhaps the inscription was done in a bit of a hurry. The vase stands 7 inches high and has no chips, cracks, or repairs.
