W2-SH27
Superb Early Sheffield Ornate Entree Server This is an unmarked early Sheffield entree server with outstanding ornamentation. The sleek dog finial is surrounded by a crown of strawberry leaves, suggesting it, at one time, belonged to an Earl. The coat of arms appears on two places on the cover. There are two interior liners. The bottom liner has the typical early Sheffield gray color and support bands. The bottom is pierced and has paw feet over ball feet. The top liner has a gadrooned edge complemented by shell and foliate designs on each side. The cover, in addition to the dog, has acanthus leaves and beading. There is a holder for the burner on the base. This piece shows only minimal age appropriate wear. There is one pin dot ding on the lid. The piece measures 13 1/4 inches from handle to handle and is approximately 10 1/2 inches to the top of the finial. A most commanding piece!

SC9-20677
Rare Vict. SPJewelry Casket, Watch Holder This rare and wonderful silverplated jewelry casket is three tiered. The middle tier swings out . Each is lined with velvet. The handle supports a hook for holding a watch. This dates circa 1870 and was made by the Reed & Barton Company. The detail in the silverplate is extraordinary. There are silhouettes of three different dogs in addition to other decorative work. The name, "Nellie," is inscribed on one side. The plating is in very fine original condition with very little wear. The piece measures 11 1/4 inches high to the top of the handle. OUTSTANDING!

Q1-PRPT
Rare Pairpoint Nouveau Figural SP Lamp Base The Pairpoint Manufacturing Co. was, primarily, a metalworks factory. This lamp base is a very unusual piece made by this company. It features a draped figure of a lady holding a torch that supports the stem and sockets for the lights. The circular base is supported by ball feet. The style is very Art Nouveau. It is silver plated. It appears to be plated over copper as there is some evidence of copper peeking through. The base is weighted to give stability to the piece. There is some age appropriate wear to the silver and what appears to be two sodder drips on the arm holding the torch. Overall condition is very fine. We have seen many examples of Pairpoint lamp bases that are urn shaped, but few with such a striking classical figure. The base is marked, "Pairpoint Manuf Co." The lamp measures 23 1/4 inches to the top of the finial and 16 1/2 inches to the top of the torch.

U8-062804
Victorian Silverplate Ornate Figural Urns, PR These Victorian urns have all the elements of mid-nineteeth century opulence. We believe they are silverplate, some parts with a gold wash. They stand on ebonized metal bases with feet. The body of the urn has garland and ram's head ornamentation. A portrait medallion can be found on front and back. The handles are winged griffen and nymphs. All in all the detail on these urns is incredible. The front of the bases have incised gold lines. Fabulous condition with minimal age appropriate wear. No breaks. Complete and beautiful, these stand 20 1/4 inches high. The bases are 6 1/4 inches square.
