G-155917

Japanese Trio, Banko Circa 1920 This lovely cup, saucer, and plate makes a striking statement with hand enamelling against an unglazed base. The cranes in flight are beautifully executed as are the ones on the ground among flowers and grasses. The plates and base of the cup have soft folds giving each piece an interesting shape and contributing to the serenity of the design. The plate measures 7 3/4 inches. No chips, cracks, or repairs.
